I believe to extrapolate a value of LNC shares based on the share scrip deal is fallicious - after all the deal is designated as worth $50m - whether that be @ $4 or $2 per share is irrelevant. After all if u want to make it attractive from a share price perspective all u need to do is adjust the total deal price. If deal was valued @ $25m then u could value shares @ $8. Doesnt really stack up - dont like these scrip deals - seems too smart by half.
Maybe I am too conservative.
