If you read some of the comments on SYR quarterly thread they are also talking about the higher prices for their large flakes. Even 12% of their sales lift their sales average up as they are achieving over $1000usd for large flakes. Someone on there asked why don’t they just target the large flakes and someone else said because the plant wasn’t designed to do that and the large flakes are a byproduct.
WKT designed their plant so more ore can bypass the crusher and grinding stages so as not to damage the large flakes. Lindi is designed to produce large flakes and the byproduct is small flakes for the battery market. Some on here just don’t understand the difference in the plant design. Even if the deposit was the same (which they aren’t) the processing have 2 very different functions and product outcomes.
