You did not provide any evidence that any large/jumbo flakes are missing or where you think they have gone.

The fact that the absolute numbers in a core sample are different to the absolute numbers on a larger sample isn't necessarily a surprise. I expect that competent metallurgists and engineers know and expect this, and even have a good indication of the expected ratio to be able to calibrate the large-scale expectations.

I haven't seen any reports or tweets that indicate the proportions of different size flakes more precise than "within expectations" or some other vague words. They haven't walked off the job, gone missing or been ground to a pulp.
