Very good point, they know the industry well, they probably have the sector’s best technology and they control the market. So it makes perfect sense to have someone on the board that talks their language, especially someone with over 100m shares. It’s also worth noting that the big Australian resource companies have Chinese directors, FMG and BHP for starters
