But you don't enter into hedges to make profits from them - WDS are using hedges to protect them (reduce risk) from negative physical movements, whether it be sales from oil, gas, cover FX movements or something else and as we know WDS is now a much larger company and the last year has been quite volatile.
Thus it is difficult making comment on the size of them without understanding what is happening on the other side.
But you don't enter into hedges to make profits from them - WDS...
