dividends are paid out after tax. So even if we make $6.5 b after tax x .80 payout ratio /1.9 b shares on issue = $2.74 payout per share less the $1.65 per share already paid out = $1.09 per share for final dividend.
Morgan’s have them making $5.2 b USD for the full year which is 7.5b AUD and paying about $1.65 Dividend.
hope they and Citi are right.
