Slightly off topic, has anyone here actually put some time into Newstag?

I really underestimated Newstag (because its buffering method needs vast improvement), so Ive underestimated LNU's strategy affiliating Newstag with itself. I think Ive given it a good lookover now, Its been running throughout the day beside me at work and I now love it.


I cant lie, Newstag definitely needs a thorough overhaul and if it doesnt then Newstag is going nowhere, eg. the visual buffer issues (so Im just listening while I work), too skewed to US news (sources need to be broader), The segment running as I type is from Spain (needs english captions but no).
But I can see where its going.
Newstag is definitely an 'of course this product will succeed current formats, it feels logical'. To me its a BBC news/SKY news replacement with a broader news source, with broader interpretation of the news.. broader news sources = reduced bias. And where LNU fits is clear. give it go.
