IGO Presentation: " average realised price (chemical and technical grade) of $US 5,431 FOB" in June 23 quarter.
That is what we have to look forward to, plus any up-step in price based on EV momentum (BYD now giving Tesla a hell of a race, particularly at low price entry points).
Based on that demand momentum, I expect even higher prices late this calendar year for spod and DSO equivalence, and I also anticipate (at risk of harping) early spod shipments, maybe March 24.
Sure, opex will have increased, but in areas like power, we were very fortunate to lock in wind turbine and solar costs before recent material step ups, and margins will, IMO, be fantastic for at least some foreseeable time.
