Sounds promising, the price bottleneck seems to be the production of BNNT for the vital improvement to the sulfur battery chemistry, without which the batteries are worthless. However the company(s) are seemingly cagey about releasing production cost information. This leads me to think that they aren't competitive with typical NMC/NCA batteries yet.
The best info I could find is this short statement:
Note the language: shifting from metal cathodes (Co, Ni, etc) to sulfur assists with mitigating the cost of BNNT - this doesn't sound like an overall cheaper battery.
