I was looking into who this might be, and BAE does seem like a good possibility, however, Lee is in the Paris Airshow currently and I was doing a bit of research. Thoughts on these guys?

Thales Australia (Subsidiary of Thales Group, France):
    • Why It Fits:
      • Thales Australia, part of the global Thales Group, has decades of experience in Australia, supplying integrated defense systems to the ADF, U.S., and European forces, including soldier systems (e.g., Future Infantry Soldier Technology), vehicle systems (e.g., Hawkei, Bushmaster), and unmanned systems (e.g., drones, autonomous vehicles).
      • Operates across air, land, and maritime domains, with a strong focus on lightweight electronics and autonomous platforms, ideal for Li-S Energy’s batteries.
      • Thales’s global reach and R&D collaborations with Australian universities (e.g., Deakin, linked to Li-S Energy’s origins) support potential technology partnerships.
      • As a subsidiary of a multinational, Thales is profitable and likely prefers anonymity in early-stage collaborations to protect commercial interests.
    • PPK Connection:
      • No direct ownership, but Thales Australia and PPK/CIB share ADF contract exposure (e.g., Land 125, vehicle programs). Thales’s manufacturing in Australia (e.g., Bendigo) and PPK’s Queensland operations suggest possible supply chain or innovation linkages.
      • PPK’s BNNT technology could interest Thales for advanced materials, and Li-S Energy’s batteries align with Thales’s need for lightweight power in soldier and unmanned systems.
