LISTING: ANB: Listing of medium term unsecured unsubordinated bonds

ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited has applied to NZX for permission to quote its
NZ$ medium term unsecured unsubordinated bonds ("Bonds") issued on 18
September 2012.  The Bonds were issued pursuant to a deed poll dated 18
January 2006 (as amended on 23 October 2008) and offered under an investment
statement dated 16 August 2012.  The Bonds have now been accepted for
quotation by NZX and will be quoted on the NZX Debt Market from 12 June 2015.

However, NZX accepts no responsibility for any statement in this
announcement. NZX is a licensed market operator and the NZX Debt Market is a
licensed market under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013.

An "Offering Document" for the purposes of the NZX Listing Rules setting out
key information in relation to the Bonds will be released via NZX
announcement on 12 June 2015.
