There is no doubt that it works on all Li minerals. From what I understand HF dissolves everything. And leaves one dirty concentrate. Then it is a case of getting the Li out. And anything else out. They put the S in and can pull it out. They put the F in, can they pull it out or is there a lot of waste full of F?

I would think that HF was on the think tank sheet when they were trying to come up with the solution for phosphate and for Li. An easier answer came up. AG has gone back to HF and said lets clean up the mess. Hence ANSTO.
