It makes all the difference in the World. If the assets are good then the opportunity for value creation is where the real money is. I have no issue with the level of ownership a director might have ... if that person is focused on maximizing the value of the company. But ... if the company is going to be issuing shares like confetti and those shares go mostly to the directors at below market values ... which the directors then flip for a quick personal profit ... that is wealth destruction for the retail holders.
