Let's look at facts. The biggest user of fluorine in industry is the nuclear industry. They use around 70-80% of worldwide fluorine production to make UF6 that allows enrichment for reactors (or for weapons). There isn't an alternative. If you really want to start a bidding war for fluorine to fund a process (SiLeach) for which multiple alernatives exists you'll lose as the increase in the price of the commodity (fluorine) will make the process uneconomical .
I don't care if LIT buys out LPD so I'm not being partisan, but really people should be able to see that SiLeach, if it relies on HF, isn't going to be commercial.
