There's only 2 earners currently in the business - Envirostream and Soluna - both entities need a lot of cash to generate any revenue. In the case of battery recycling that has to be funded enormously because it's a long time between drinks from now until any stewardship programme rolls out. Add to that the high cost of infrastructure to support any collection/processing campaign and also the battery availability is not going to go from less than 10% recycling to 50% overnight. That'll be a long haul so what do you do to "earn" during the twilight period ? Seems to be very high risk, very cash reliant and potentially a huge cash drain. You can poke as many statistics at it as you like but at the end of the day it's cold hard cash back in the bank that matters.
