Cobalt = white hot strategic resource right now (the most at risk material used in battery mfr).
US$ 84m project NPV for just US$4.5m capex is an outstanding investment proposition.
And this is just for a single battery recycling plant in Montreal.
I can imagine Neometals partnering to have many of these battery recycling plants around the world. The availability of raw material (recyclable batteries) would support more than 50 plants this size right now, based on the independent figures provided. And the amount of available material is projected to roughly double in the next 5 years.
Neometals is the only lithium producer with serious Cobalt prospects that I'm aware of. No tenements needed, no mining, short development timeline, and solving a sustainability problem that many jurisdictions will welcome with open arms. Urban mining indeed.
