Macquarie are not on their own as champions of MIN’s management quality, and naturally bullish on the outlook for this company with strong cash flows from different businesses. Magellans Australian arm Airlie Funds have similarly strong sentiment. On a broader perspective there is also strong endorsement on quality resource companies with Lithium exposure from some fund managers like Tribeca.
They have a keen interest in the emerging Lithium plays with a caveat, expecting volatility next 12 months, but strong on Lithium long term. A lot can happen in 12 months but MIN appear to have protected the capital allocation with big smarts. Not paying a dividend, (normally a good yield) has set the company up for long term success. I have owned MIN for 7 years. Cannot recall a Capital Raise so the company has managed all growth & acquisitions without hitting the shareholders. Extraordinary track record.
AIMO but not into SP forecasts as I am not a broker, just an appreciative shareholder whose instinct is share price will be higher in 12 months, the dividend will be back & Macquarie probably on the money.
