This is 21st Jan '24 fly-over with the drilling overlaid. The mafic/ultramafic contact appears to be constraining pegmatite mineralisation up-dip to the south and east.
Looking regionally at the 1:100k GSWA mapping, it would appear there is some constraining structure, whether thats a mafic/ultramafic boundary or a regional fault/fold/shear that prevented the pegmatite from coming to surface up-dip in the east.
Mag 1VD, possibly some interaction of the mafics/ultramafics. Green line is where I've constrained to until more data is known.
Based off what is known.
- Top peg is dipping at 9.7° towards 171° (south). 5 datapoints.
- Second peg is dipping at 14.3° towards 162°. 5 datapoints
- Third peg is less clear and dipping at 7.4° towards 138° (south-east). 4 datapoints but the RC/DD twin doesn't really count so effectively 3.
SECTION LOOKING NORTH, cut between the first 6 holes. Yellow holes on right are mafics/ultramafics which appear to be constraining the mineralisation.
LOOKING WEST/SOUTH-WEST. Awaiting assay results from bottom of hole 24, and possibly awaiting more assay results in bottom of holes 28 and 29? Or is the thick 17m interval not continuous? Continued extension of the 17m interval in holes 28 and 29 was what I was watching for with the latest results.
And a closer look. There should be another interval in the bottom of hole 28 unless the peg is birfurcating.
They're extending hole 28 with a DD tail, possibly to look for the lateral continuation of the 3m @ 2.13% in the bottom of hole 22..?
Searching for continuation between holes 26 and 28 chasing potential extensions of the chunky 4th pegmatite (17m) and the 5th pegmatite (hole 22 3m @ 2.13% above).
I like the tenements but not these results. That 17m peg looks like its dried up but the diamond drilling might give them some structural clues on where else to drill. Might be worth a sniff at $0EV to see what's going on at Jaeger in March but the same story as CHR's Medcalf - stacked high grade, thin pegs aren't viable.
