I believe pit mining at lower levels is economical due to better grades.So the totals could come in at higher figures.Plus there are further areas in known gold country to be explored. If you check out Roblun's posts on GSR, he has done extensive research on GSR's potential,revealing,to my mind what could be termed criminal negligence in not monetizing GSR's gold reserves.
