Good afternoon NBM, I was delighted to come across your posts and think you would be a perfect candidate for a research paper I am undertaking about internet trolls. More specifically, what is it that the individual (or group if working in pairs or more) gets out of the experience from a psychological perspective and what physiological processes take place in the brain (from a chemical perspective, e.g. dopamine etc) as he/she drafts and then hits post on an aggressive / demeaning / negative diatribe and then sits back and watches the reaction and plots further engagement. My intuition (I need data hence the request) is that it has something to do with inferiority / persecution / small appendage (or unattractive appearance) for which he/she has been victimised in the past and therefore trolls are deserving of pity / sympathy. This hypothesis is a generalisation of course, in psychology we can’t talk in absolutes because everything is a spectrum and there are always exceptions.
As stated would be very interested in taking a more in depth look at your case.
Peace and love

No problem Scotty.
Start with Shizoid. Get back to me when you've got your head around that.
Give me your personal quals and I'll see if your worthy of my time and effort.
In the meantime, I'm busy running down the inept management of some stock I hold.
Cheers.
