Good question and it is not uncommon for multiple explorers to work an area before some exploration advancement.
Our teams recent work to add to this:
One would assume that RMS:ASX and previous owners had found everything within 10-20km of the Edna May gold mine in Westonia WA which has been operating on and off for over 100 years and has a town next to the mine.
Refer KULA ASX release of 31 August- and maiden exploration results therein.
The Brunswick project and region which you refer to has had far less historic exploration than the Southern Cross/Westonia region but within 75km hosts Greenbushes and Boddington- two world class mines.Lithium in exploration is often completely leached at surface (Mt Holland) and requires drilling below the weathered zones to properly test. The rock age in this part of WA is billions of years old and lithium is a very mobile element, therefore often not evident at surface, and as such the targets once worked up, require testing at depth.
