as much said it happens all the time, there is a whole industry in the US, deals are done because it will cost more to take the whole matter to court so the lawyer settle and get their cut, that should all be illegal..if there weren't those that are linning their own pocket with huge pay packets there wouldn't be this constain suings.
actually lots of ASX company have all sorts of legal battles. ex directors entitlement, tenement holdings rights, JV, brides, and of course those directors that just suck a company dry just paying themself with shareholders funds... and just continually promise everything but deliver nothing.
the context of this case is a bit of a concern in that it could be complex; isn't it 2 years in the making already, and how much time and destraction will it take away from our team doing what they need to.. hopefully its not one of those cases that drags on for year.
I expect further case will be over patent and royalities about who owns what... and those patents case are usually settle too ..as its too costly and time consuming
