Tinwins, it also proves the efficacy of a closed loop system, where extraneous waste of energy is virtually non existent and production is much more efficient. The only energy output from outside is getting the produce to market and that might even be addressed if the farm is close to market. MFV is a win-win for everyone if at the end of the day, it is profitable for all. People don't always see the big picture, this is a very friendly way to utilise a local resource.
