I was right about the announcement, only my timing was a bit off.
It might be a bit of a stretch to expect K3 to be shoehorned into the LOMP at such short notice. If nothing else, this sets FFX up for LOMP 2.0 (and possibly LOMP 3.0) over the next couple of years.
