I see what you are saying, but partnering with Ginfeng has several major advantages as I see it.
During construction they will have access to Ginfeng's technical knowhow.
Second they can raise debt finance easily via Ginfeng's connections with China's policy banks, who strongly support the African adventures of Chinese firms.
Third, we can go through the FID, financing and construction phases with full knowledge that the entire output from the palnt has a final customer. This is a huge deal for a company trying to build their first plant in a sector in which they don't already have a foothold.
