Struth here we go again with the unbated excitement from those of the opinion that all this equates to revenue. Does anyone think for a minute that LIT are the only players in the market. Grants from WA Gov. are significant in reach with a number of recipients in the e-waste/battery space and far bigger $$ numbers than this petty cash handout. So the applicant states a facility for 1,500 tonnes. That's small beer in anyone's language, then there's the sorting and discharge etc. before a dusty ride across the Nullarbor to extract the cake mix for sale. I don't see any of that as contributing to a healthy P&L report.
Simple fact is, with WA, unless you're undertaking the whole process in situ, it's a money soak. Lot's have learned that lesson over time and nothing is any different in the recycling game.
