Why?
Any current producer is making BANK.
They are selling product at massive margins, not hoping that all the ducks line up for a new tech that might see first commercial production in 2026, best case, ignoring likely remaining hurdles and challenges.

Perhaps you need to do some research into anticipated demand growth. You might realise that over the next decade or so, there'll need to be on average about 200ktpa of NEW LCE supply come online every year.
That's a NEW 25ktpa operation needing to come online, on average, EVERY 6-7 WEEKS.
Read that again.

Anyone thinking that one "new tech" or "one company" has any chance of "taking over" all of that supply is dreaming imo.

ANY company who can produce quality product at a reasonable cost in this period will be making BANK.
Don't be so quick to assume that traditional "evap pond producers" will all go to the wall if some new tech proves itself.
Oh and don't forget that even the purported costs (yet unproven btw) aren't even hugely less than traditional processing methods.
