Tesla will need insane amounts of batteries.Elon said that they plan to produce about 3 TWh per year by 2030, and plan to buy another 3 TWh from other battery producers. This would need about 4-5 million tonne LCE per year!! That's a huge number. To put it into context, that's about 15 times more Lithium than what was produced last year in the whole world!!
LKE with their 5 projects are most likely sitting on enormous quantities of lithium, and Tesla needs scale, so Tesla is one of the most likely off take partner for LKE in my opinion too.
