just watched ABC business program and talk was lithium. they spoke about PLS who want to make about 580,000 T of spodumene. taking 75% of the spodumene and extracting 6% Lithium we have around 4% Lithium (lithium carbonate) so 4% of 580,000 is 23,000T P.a. the PLS share price is $AUD 1.77 today.
PLS has to send the spodumene to china to convert it to lithium carbonate... a huge carbon foot print.
LKE has plans to make 50,000 T.PA, cheaper than PLS and greener than PLS.....so whene we are in production we could be valued at over 2 times AUD 1.77 or $AUD 3.50 as soon as 2024 ish. and thats based on current lithium prices that are half the price of what they were a couple of years.....@ fantasy has some lovely valuations north of this so nice green profitable way forward.
