Yeah by the sounds of it the board were looking for a new CEO for a while, probably narrowed it down, then told Steve and instead of doing an orderly transition he just jumped ship. Poor form, will hurt his job prospects, but probably doesn't need to work. Whilst I would like to blame the board for this, it's sounding more or more like it was a complete Steve diva move
