Not sure what you are going on about, as there is a lot more going on than test tube testing.
You do realize that there are companies with small scale production plants in warehouses or factories, that provide a service in testing and production requirement procedure investigation for plant design, these companies will prove at scale with there own plant that it can be done and how the plant is to be built by producing a product for the company.
All a demo plant does, is show that a company does not already know, so this is costly and going blindly when a company should be sure first by using the right procedure before committing funds along with lost time.
Companies that do not use this procedure service that these companies provide, only set themselves up for costly mistakes and longer timelines to production, that is the point I have been getting at, and one of the reasons why I have stayed away from stocks like LKE.
