I believe it is a purchase outright but am saying this as the sentence is poorly worded.

14000m2 does not help either. Why not say 1.4 hectares or even 3.46 acres.

It is a very positive announcement but going by the last four announcements, the management need a well experienced Marketing Manager.

Agree with you Kengaroo. It does mention has exercised option to buy BUT a couple of dot points keeps everything simple and highlights the key parts so nobody misses them. Some will look at that and think it's a boring announcement.
