Here is a previous post I did on Koppio.
Appears to me that the deposit has been expanded at least 40m to the south west, but more importantly the deposit has been tested to greater depths and an additional lens has been discovered towards the northern end of the deposit. Giving the deposit additional width and potentially a significantly lower cost of mining due to a reduction in waste rock.
Difficult to know exactly how much extra graphite we have found.. But potentially I think there will be another 100,000t of contained graphite and the deposit will move to indicated from inferred.

So drilling has started at Koppio.

First of all let me say that the amount of graphite that Lincoln minerals are sitting on is absolutely huge.
But nearly all of it is undrilled. It pokes out of the ground, and lights up like a light bulb on EM Surveys.

Koppio is just a pimple of the total amount of graphite that Lincoln Minerals has on its tenements.

Yet this seemingly insignificant pimple will easily help justify a medium sized graphite mining operation.
Let's say Lincoln Minerals are looking at a 50,000t per year graphite operation. The current inferred resource would sustain around 4 years of mining.

So what will the drilling bring?

Below is a picture of the Koppio mine and the drill holes. Note the scale and the fact that graphite is visible at the surface.

Koppio remains open to the North, South and at Depth.
Holes 15,16 and 17 are of particular interest as they provide some of the best results, and these were the last holes to explore the southern extent. Add another 100m of strike and you are talking another 1M tonnes of ore and another 2 years of production.

From this graphic here you can see that there entire EM Signature and target drilling area is over 1KM in length
But to date only around 500m of the Koppio deposit has been minimally tested. Another 200m of prime target lies to the south, and probably to a lesser degree another 300m to the north, where the graphite lens is thinner.

I suspect we will see infill drilling at Koppio as well as a few holes to the south and the north.

Kookaburra Gully Extended will be interesting.
They have already sunk 100 holes and never produced a JORC
Its way bigger than Kookaburra Gully and Koppio

Looking forward to the drill results.

This is still flying under most graphite investors radars.
Only a matter of time before it gathers more interest.
