Personally I don't give a rats about the tariffs/ trade war

It's a couple of years to build the plant from when they sign remaining BTA's and FID before they produce LNG, and the Chinese think long term. They will probably sign BTA's anyway.

Even with a tariff, it's still cheaper to bring in US LNG that the current spot prices, yet alone the fact that China could buy the LNG under a contract, sell it at spot prices elsewhere such as to Europe and rebuy from a non-tariff country.

In my opinion, they'll sign anyway, and then if other Chinese investors decide to get on the share registry they'll send the price bonkers.
