ROSS HINTS LNG MAY BE PART OF INTERIM U.S.- CHINA TRADE DEAL!
Reviving liquefied natural gas exports to China could form part of an interim trade agreement with Beijing, according to comments from U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross.
LNG and soybeans are among the goods being discussed inphase one negotiations dealing with current trade issues, Ross said Tuesday in a telephone press conference from Bangkok. Sealing a smaller, first-round accord would help reduce tensions and rebuild trust, and could be the precursor to a more robust pact that addresses structural issues, he said.
Who was chosen by US Secretary Of Commerce Mr Ross to participate in a United States Business Development Trade Mission to Thailand, Indonesia & Vietnam from the 3rd - 8th Nov..... LNG LTD!
Before this Bloomberg press release at 3:30am EST in the US on the 5th, I got wind of LNG being part of a Phase 1 deal!
If that is the case, 2020 is shaping to be very exciting! Watch the global market flow much more freely...
All the best! JK.
