The fear is what if the 5 million dollar fix doesn't actually fix the problem? If it was as easy as drilling the cement out while somehow leaving everything else intact then recementing it wouldn't have the price tag it has. The timeline of this I also find a bit puzzling. Best case scenario this works and doesn't happen when they try again. Worst case scenario is another well.
