I personally would love to see this company de-risk with either the French gov failing to submit evidence by the 15th,(IMO this would definitely support an outcome of a victory in court or a larger settlement) or even an announcement detailing interest in Australian prospects. Unfortunately with operations suspended in the Philippines for the last year due to covid and French prospects now in tribunal, future success seems to be relying on the outcome of an already drawn out case (even with its positive outlook )
Yes funds are good, they have near 54 quarters of funding available as of last report but we also owe an excess of 10mill to management and nothing's happening revenue wise right now.
Couple more ticks in the fundamentals column and I'd be happy to pay the premium and ride the long term re-rate
As for settlements, I believe so; and considering GGX have won 2 cases to get to this point. (I believe) the second being an appeal by the French gov.
It suggests that the defense's intention has been to draw out proceedings rather than settle, but with final notice and a failure to submit evidence by the 15th this may force their hand. IMO at that point their options are settle or fight a case with no admissible evidence and loose
This is French court though so idk how things work over there to the letter, and as
@Bluey66 has mentioned issues surrounding leniency given due to covid.
