    Stygofauna. I hazily had the following section in my mind from the USGS Sedex model in my previous post. I've confused fauna with bacteria producing sulphides in organically rich sediments that aid formation of sedex deposits. Thereby confirming my inexpertise. smile.png

    Hopefully someone who knows this stuff can enlighten as to the use of the stygofauna density in this way (presumably not just to get ahead of the curve on environmental impact studies).
