That M&G sellout brought out classic response from the Company, putting out a public announcement saying M&G said they were selling due to concerns about the project timelines blowing out and denouncing them for it.

Rather than allay the market, it seemed to start a stampede for which many blamed shorters for even claimed M&G were shorting.

I did an exercise on shorting and the share price once and put up a table, in every case where shorts increased, it was AFTER the share price moved downwards and in every case the cause of the share price slide was attributable to the company actions or inactions.
