There’s nothing in VRFB for the politicians and public servant decision makers.
All the benefits of VRFB accrue long after the people giving the green light have left their positions. The higher costs are now. So they never choose the long term benefit out of pure self interest.
Don’t bet against human nature. NEVER bet against Aus politicians acting for their own selfish reasons.
