Yes, I can see the benefits of those points, however what I am trying to say is this: they are not the concessions that Thai government is giving. The Thai government are not really offering anything with those concessions. In fact, you could argue that Kingsgate is offering Thai government concessions by vaccinating the people for them, by ensuring that they are well looked after, by giving them a chance to participate in an IPO. Those are wins for the Thai government not for Kingsgate.
However, it is possible to argue that those points are mutually beneficial to the Thai government and Kingsgate. But my point is that they are not the concessions that Kingsgate seek to satisfy forgoing the Tribunal fines. That is why I see it as a political spin more than anything else.
