un-economical - imo refers back to a comment Rod made at KDL, to the treatment of the remaining ore in the same manner as it was in 1984 - roasting the whole lot.

this was a pyrite mine, where roasting of the pyrite was the objective to release the sulfur. the metals were credits.

the reason we are even bothering ??

why? if it is un economic? none. madness.

rather, we are bothering as 33 years later, with other plants built, options to toll treat etc, or just mine the sulfides, and stockpile the pyrites.

we now look at options to extract the metals, that may be economic in todays metal market.
that is the point of why we are bothering.

the scoping study will show what best path.

as we have 600-800-1200 koz - why that amount is not economic if we dont build own plant, but just toll treat?

new lenses might find more of the same mix, or they might find a different combination.

this is the pyrite belt where many others operate successfully.

do you really think, that we took this project on as 600-800koz of uneconomic dog doo ? or was there some value in a new approach to an existing resource?
