The market, in general, dictates the share price of any and every company.
I would be interested to know what you or any other critic would do to inflate the share price to a level that makes all holders happy because that would probably never happen in itself.
So, if you say you would do this or that, I can state without even knowing your suggestion, or how good or bad it is, that you can not guarantee anything, at all.
Whatever you suggest might be beneficial, or it may not do zip.
And around this point in time, people may start to realise a CEO is not meant to be a market manipulator, they are there to steer a company to survive until they can make a good or service that is then profitable, with hopefully the potential to pay dividends long term, and along the way the value of capital increases.
Before any good or service is commercialised companies need to survive, first priority, secondly they need to have a marketable product, after that life gets a lot easier for holders and management.
Manipulating share prices is not pertinent to a CEO or even management role, being aware and concerned about the share price is relevant, but the market does its assessments in numerous ways, and the market makes the price.
We don't pay the CEO to manipulate a share price, we pay them to survive long enough and to positively go forward to successful commercialisation.
I think some people have a lack of knowledge on the role of a CEO.
But feel free to list what you would do to double or triple the share price, and IF you have responses then come to the realisation that anything you suggest may actually make no positive difference.
Reality needs to be understood.
