we could also (likely) see the Early Works Contractor be selected prior to FID, which would be another forward step.
I recently worked on a Government project near Geelong and the main contractor was QLD based, so early notification was required in order to allow time for accommodation and travel etc. Same thing could happen here.


Just spoke to one of my linesmen mates. It would be good to know from RNU but he believes the electrical upgrading works here would likely be overhead, which is cheaper and faster than underground. Might play in to the "accelerated construction".
