What exciting for me is our potential growth on top of a now robust mine, now with our alliance with Ganfeng we can make these things happen.

One of them is to duplicate Stage 1 processing plant andproduce 440,000 tpa of 6% Spodumene concentrate.

Another is the  Stage 2 project is significantly de-risked by having all major statutoryapprovals, key personnel and contractors in place to commenceproduction so lets use this to our advantage.

We also have significant upside still likely with Altura’s 16,000ha of explorationtenements surrounding Pilgangoora.

The benchmark for battery grade lithium carbonate purity is set at 99.5%, and Altura’s lithium carbonate from a 25kg spodumene sample achieved 99.97% purity during conversion process testing

According to Altura, its lithium carbonate purity is comparable to commercial electric vehicle grade lithium carbonate, without actually undergoing flowsheet optimisation. This leaves the door open for optimisation opportunities further down the track.
