Lets just revisit this after seeing that video posted by #peppa
If electrolyte is sulphruic acid... lets assume 1 mol/L
98% will retail in WA for ~400/t so this translates to ~$40/t for 1mol solution
So this would translate electrolyte loss cost to approx. $0.2-5 /t product (certainly a bit of a reduction)
Assuming max output of power unit
600 A
20V
P = 12kW
assuming 8000 operating hours per annum (complete guess of a number) this is 96MWh
Cost of power ~0.17c/kWh
This would be $163,200 pa
or $27k-33k /t of product
Not really any surprise power is the big cost for this process though
But remember this assumes max power output and utilization time of charge on cells, so will likely be lower than this
