    1) It's not just layers is platelet size. However, Few vs single layer makes a massive difference. Look at the work being done at NUS.

    2) IIRC FGR ann regarding size was average 48-72 micron with up to 100 microns being recorded, but regardless the 'perfect bell shaped normal curves' that you speak of here were plotted on a log scale and is somewhat bell like I guess but only between 10-100 micron, it had virtually no upper tail and a moderate lower tail, there were no 500 micron platelets, although there were 1% by volume of platelets in the 400 micron size for a particular subset of the product. Given you can't interpret a graph, how confident should I be on your ability to judge professionalism, perhaps they should use the pretty blue stripe down the side of their slides to make it look professional? If you're going to poke holes you better get it right.
