Hopefully this is nothing more than a 'very cautious' approach to investigating the cause of this fault, which is the prudent thing to do with such machines. If there is a need to dismantle the generator to visually inspect/test windings, segments, etc. this could be a big job - fingers crossed it's notbut certainly not just changing as fuse as some 'bright sparks' suggested
(I hope they were just kidding by the way
)
