Yes, it certainly is a cash cow to them. Closed funds in general seem to be the cash cow of the managed funds world. The ability to lock in capital and prevent mass outflows when the performance is horrible. The Sandon Capital offer is very interesting. I would definitely jump at the chance to cash out at NTA. If only all investors would become more vocal and active in the way this LIC is run. I couldn't agree more with Sandon about the Options issues... a complete waste of time. I can't listen or watch Paul Clitheroe anymore! There is something toxic about funds with Absolute Return in their mandate. It seems to translate to high fees, low performance benchmarks....
