For those who had a little trouble finding a further reference to 45% lepidolite here is a snip from Table 1. - the circled numbers are % visual Lepidolite - the column to the left of the circled numbers is % LiO2, and to the left of that is m. of intercept
Interesting that 45% Lepidolite only translates to 1% LiO2 - which I take as due to the very light weight of the Li atom vis a vie the other metalic elements in the mineral. So it is quite high grade stuff they have got, but rather narrow veins of the pegmatite.
Meanwhile we await news of our billion tonne V ore project - not that a billion tonnes will help any of us much - that would translate to possibly 100s of years mine life. Thoughts?
